This smoothie is a mix between overnight oats and a chocolate smoothie and perfect for hot summer mornings! For any breastfeeding mommas out there, oats are a galactagogue, which means they promote your milk supply. They are also an excellent source of manganese, molybdenum, B vitamins and other minerals as well as fiber which will keep you feeling full.

Frozen bananas and dates make this smoothie so sweet you won’t believe there’s no added sugar! Bananas and are a good source of vitamin B6, manganese, vitamin C, potassium, fiber, biotin and copper and dates are a good source of iron and fiber! Make sure you peel ripe bananas before freezing them so that you can easily throw them in the blender for smoothies. I always have a gallon ziplock bag full of ripe bananas in my freezer for quick smoothie making! Chia seeds and almond butter add lots of good fats and protein to the mix!
