I posted this on Instagram but I thought it should live here too. I’ve been neglecting the blog over the past year because I think we’ve all just been in survival mode, you know? I’ve been relying more and more on ready made meals as life is busier and I am just plain TIRED! These are some of my go-tos and I hope you enjoy them too!

1 – Maya Kaimal Everyday Dal $3.49 – Top on my list because they are just so delicious and filling! My favorite is the red lentil & butternut squash, but you can’t go wrong with any of them! I usually eat some fruit with this but you can also serve it over rice to bulk up the meal a bit. I get these at Wegmans, Target, Whole Foods Market & online at Thrive Market.

2 – Amy’s Soup $3.39 – I love these because there is no added sugar, something that is actually hard to find! ALWAYS read the ingredients. I stick with the “light in sodium” because we all know there is way too much salt added to packaged foods! I think most grocery stores sell this brand.

3 – Whole Foods Frozen Meals $3.99 – My husband takes these to work all the time and his favorite is the “Protein Blends California-Style”

4 – Amy’s Frozen Burrito (non-dairy) $2.99 – The easiest of them all! Eat it alone or dip in some guac or salsa. When I used to work at my local health food store, these always went fast. Find in the frozen section of your grocery store.

5 – Amy’s Frozen Indian Samosa Wrap $2.99 – Another ready in less than 2 minutes filling meal! Find in the frozen section of your grocery store.
