These are so simple and yet bring your taco game to the next level! We always have these in our fridge and you should too!
spicy pickled onions
ingredients
1 large red onion, peeled & sliced
1 serrano or jalepeno pepper, sliced (remove seeds for less spicy, or omit if you don’t like spice at all)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup filtered water
big pinch of salt
directions
place all ingredients in small saucepan and bring to boil. once boiling take off the heat and allow to cool. transfer to jars with some of the liquid. cover and store in refrigerator. use to top tacos or salads or however you please!
